Lilly grumpily stepped out of bed. ” It’s another freezing cold day.”, whispered Lilly to herself. She was expecting to see miserable weather like rain, wind and snow but she didn’t. The bright sun shone high in the sky, beautiful flowers were pushing through the earth. “It’s spring at last!” Lilly laughed as she ran outside for glimpse of spring.
In the farm nearby, cute new-born lambs leapt around the field. Small plants were growing, animals were being born. Water glistened as light reflected on it. “Spring is amazing!” Lilly sang as she cart-wheeled across the fresh, green grass with all the joyful children.

The lava was pushing through the earth and oozing out at maximum speed, pushing and shoving trees as if it was the city bully. Citezens evacuated the streets and into special space shuttles waiting to escape the horror between them. Katy was afraid that if she stayed at the city, she would be melted and the gooey orange lava would burst through her veins And turn her into ash. As she was thrown about by the crowd, she stumbled into the space craft and was taken away.as she staggered to her feet, she gazed out the window at the city and realised lots of people had been left behind to suffer.
The giant moles by Naife
There they where pushing through the earth banging, stamping, dashing in the city. Massive, ugly, fluffy moles which needed food. Making earth quakes “oh no!!” screamed the terrified citizens. BANG SMASH!! All the buildings where falling over, rumble scattered all around and thick, dark brown dust clouds formed, blinding everyone. The army and their tanks were destroying the whole city because the moles are as quick as thunder and they are taking cover underground. food was getting low so the citizens gathered all the food supply’s together and hid it in a steel safe only leaving a small amount that was covered with poison. The moles screamed and screeched as they died.
William shook himself free of Aunty Jenny’s grasp and made for the wilderness. The breeze of wind blew his hair and the song of the birds welcomed him. Suddenly he saw a gaping hole in the earth below a tree, some long pointy noses struck the surface. The noses belonged to foxes. Baby foxes.

The miner was exhausted hours of digging but he found no diamonds. As he pushed through the earth he reached a dim light, the soil sank deeper and deeper. When he got out he noticed he had been in a circle. Sleep deprived and exhausted he made it to earths core,he didn’t stop there. No more could be mined as he had reached bedrock. As evening approached,Arthur clambered onto his bed,leaping and jumping. Everything was quiet, silence surrounded him. Soon, the ground oscillated beneath his feet! Nervous,scared,terrified Arthur hid behind the cupboard; but soon the noise faded.”It was just a small earthquake.”explained Mum from downstairs.
He looked out of the window, small serrated rocks jagged out, pushing through the earth.”I think it’s a volcano that’s going to be formed!”shouted Arthur trembling with fear.It was not long before a volcano was formed.Boom!!

They thought it was to short. Meetings were held across the country to find answer to if they should add a new event in the Winter Olympics. It all started when a young Winter Olympian suggested to add ice basketball to the games. The government and the prime minister were having votes to whether or not to add this game. That Winter Olympian said it was just the same as basketball but played on ice. Also everyone wanted more events so they might be happy when they add it. Finally this event was agreed upon, so it will be in action in the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Kelly heard her teacher, the head teacher an all the parents talking about the school holidays.she was worried. Kelly walked back to her class, stood at the front and announced what she heard.
” I heard Mrs Smith , Mr Reynolds and all our parents talking about the school holidays, they said we should have 6 weeks in school then only 1 week off!
” Quick, mrs smiths coming” said Stacey.
When Mrs Smith came into the classroom she discussed the matter with the children and said
” Meetings were held across the country to find an answer to poor work, and the answer was to have 6 weeks in school and 1 Week off.
All the children sighed because from then on that arrangement happened
