A very hungry baby bear by Jessica

Not knowing where he was going a very hungry baby bear, dashed through the forest, his tummy was rumbling louder than a drum. He spotted a cave in the distance. Slowing down baby bear wondered if he should enter. What if something horrible was in there or, something that might want to eat him. After standing there for a while he finally made a decision. On the shiny stone table were three bowls full of cornflakes. Hungrily he tried the biggest bowl they were to soft, the medium bowl were to crunchy, then he tried the smallest bowl the cornflakes were just right so he ate them all up.
Suddenly, baby bear wanted to dance so he pressed play on the C.D player, then he began to dance and dance then he knocked over a lion toy accidentally, and it looked really precious. Sleepily baby bear dragged his self upstairs he tried the biggest bed it was to hard, then baby bear tried the medium bed it was to soft, then he tried the smallest bed it was just right so baby bear fell fast asleep.

Disaster! by Dongnan

Thunder boomed veherently, towards the ground like a drum. The leopard, who’s voice was hoarse with exhaustion, carried on finding shelter. Demanding warmth, his matted fur, which was as soft as wool, drooped down unhappily. Excited, there was a pleasant cave, right in front of him. Tentatively, he sniffed the air, the welcoming smell of sandy-gold cornflakes dragged him forwards.

Struggling for air, the leopard wanted to dance with pleasure, however he knew that a fierce animal like him; could not. His mouth started to munch on the bowls of cornflake. Startled, a silhouette of a lion, no longer than him, moved towards him…

‘Hunted’ by Max

The picturesque sun beat down upon me like a drum, igniting the leviathanesque African plains – creating a veil of golden nature. Despite the excruciating pain in my leg I ventured unto the horizon, perspiring as blood trickled down my thigh.

Tearing into the obscene carcass, the lions annihilated the bison, leaving nothing but a withered cornflake. Their vermillion manes dancing in the wind as they moved on; hunting the foul human…

I traversed the canyon, an exciting feeling surging through my veins as I spotted the herd of bison – then the lions moved in, advancing toward me.

Baby Bears revenge by Amy

Goldilocks woke up, and his eyes stared into hers. “Look at poor little Goldilocks. All alone, nobody to help her. Boo hoo!” Chuckled Baby Bear. “You don’t want porridge now, do you?”
SPLAT! Goldilocks was smothered in porridge. There was so much, that she felt like she was suffocating.
“Why are you doing this?” She gasped.
“To get my revenge!”

“You can take my cornflakes, but not my porridge! Now, this is exciting. Release the lion!” The lion circled her stealthily, and its roar was as loud as a drum. He danced around evilly. “Let’s see how this turns out!…”

The stunt lion

As I walked around crazy animals at the zoo. I saw a poster saying, come and see our stunt lion doing his funny act. I thought it sounded exiting so I went to get a seat. The drum started to play a beat the show was about to begin.

“Welcome to the ring lively lion,” exclaimed Richard the ring master. Lively lion entered the ring. He danced while drumming and eating cornflakes. At the end of the show he juggled three drums and three bowls of cornflakes. I had such an amazing time. It was a marvellous day.

Lions by Rebecca

The lions mane danced in the wind as I stood completely still. My heart pounded like a drum, the lion looked me in the eyes. More lions surrounded me , their Cubs growing more exited. Each lion let out a humongous roar. Why did lions have to eat meat , why not cornflakes?
Scared, mad, upset I was cornered. I felt as if I was being laughed at,by the lions. Any movement and my bones would be crushed, but with all my courage I held my hand out, closing my eyes with fear, hoping not to be eaten. The lions moved towards me…

The race against time by Ellie

Unexpectedly, the shrill ring from the telephone reverberated around the bathroom interrupting my thoughts. At the other end of the phone a voice that I never expected to hear from again. I could perceive a sense of foreboding revolving in my mind, despite this curiosity compelled me to listen.

Suddenly a cold shiver traveled down my spine , I had to fly to Afghanistan. My mission was to collect the Hansons family from the war.It was a race against time.War was already raging.

Although I was scared I knew I had to save them. They were the ‘x marks the spot’.

Running away by Rebecca

Scared, shattered, shocked running away like a hamster in a ball; surrounded at every turn! The army’s helicopters, search dogs, police cars, it wouldn’t be easy finding my way out from the CIA. Why did they want me? Sweat dripped down my face as I pulled my body through the woods.
I took shelter on the rocks camouflaging myself against them. Had I finally got away? The huge searchlight looked around for me as dogs sniffed my nearby path. I took one minuscule step, the rocks were sent tumbling down one by one. The light focused, the army shouted “x marks the spot!”
And the spot was me…
