Ellie Marland And then the noise stopped…

Worried, frightend, terrified I ran towards my door, the strange noise followed me,the noise of old ladies chatting,it was continuous. Loud, high pitched talking followed by a rhythamatic, quiet humming sound of a little girl. Somebody screamed help, but who was it? I was confused, whirling around my garden people stared at me, voices shouting at me. Was it all in my mind? Yes, no, well I dont know! The noise was getting quieter and quieter then there was a bang! I wasn’t ok I was still confuised, and then the noise stopped…

Then the noise stopped by Jamie-Leigh Jones

I needed it to stop, but it wouldn’t. Repetitive ticking, which I thought was fading away, got much louder making me feel like my head was going to explode. My head was hurting. My hands were pressed tight against my ears, and then the noise stopped. Where had it gone? I went down to the basement to see if it had been coming from there but it wasn’t. I went upstairs to my room. That was strange, my room was clean! My clothes had been picked up, my books had been put back and my bed was made. And there it was. The cause of the ticking…

The noise by Jake Cupitt

I was watching my favourite Tv program when suddenly I heard a noise. At first I didn’t know what the noise was but then it got louder and louder. The noise was like a banging but ticking at the same time. I got up and looked to find who was making the noise. I looked in the kitchen, it wasn’t there. I looked in the bathroom, no noise. Finally I looked inside my bedroom, still no noise. Next I thought for a while and checked one last place,    the Attic … and then the noise stopped.

A Loud howl by Aaron broad

My heart was beating as fast as a cheetah when a loud howl came from the hill. I ran upstairs , grabbed my bed cover and hid in the wardrobe. I put the cover over my body and covered my ears , I tried to stop thinking about the noise. The noise got louder and louder, it was like there was a wolf infront of my wadrobe. I tried to go to sleep but it was to loud and I was squashed between my cloths and shoes . I heard a creak and my window flew open and then… The noise stopped.

…and then the noise stopped by Conner Mcmullen

…And then the noise stopped I popped my head out from under my covers I rose up up from under my bed.then i walked slowly down the stairs to see what it was.It was comeing from the scariest place in the house…the cellar. That is the the only place I would never go.It gives me the creeps even when I walk past it,in there are humungas spider webs and even bigger spiders, which I hate because I am alergic, every time I pass it feels like something is watching me.Sluggishly I walked towardes the door suddenly there it was again…

The darkness

All night a constant, annoying, yet relaxing humm kept me up also the daring moon shone through my window. It was a Thursday night 11th of November I was getting ready for bed when out of the blue a humming sounded. This went on for hours, but I still could not find the answer of this noise which was repeating in my head. The noise was coming from down stairs obviously I was going to look, I crept down stairs with my,cute yet babyish, reindeer quilt dragging behind me.  I glared down the hallway,as I went to walk back up stairs two yellow bright eyes glowed through the darkness I went into shock,my legs started to tremble, but as the two eyes got closer I clicked and that`s when I dashed up stairs, jumped under my cover,at that very moment the door slammed shut.

“I`m sure I locked it” I mumbled to myself and that`s when I heard my mum ……….then the noise stopped.
