100 word challenge by Max

Deep down inside the basement where no-one dared to go was a cupboard. A cupboard full of secrets, a cupboard full of lies. My father ,whom I despised with my mind and soul, often visited that cupboard since the death of my cousin. I wandered towards the cupboard , personally I would never dream of opening that cupboard, but I forced myself to do it. And when I opened the cupboard door my worst fears were confirmed. I felt an unconsolable rage surge throughout me. It was as if my darker self was overcoming me. That’s when I blacked out …

The cupboard by Jasmine

” Lily don’t forget to keep your eyes closed when your counting to ten! ” Shouted My friends.

” Ok! … 1… 2… 3… ” I turned round and saw one of them go into the cupboard under the stairs.

” … 9… 10! Ready or not here I come! ” I dived to the cupboard… And I opened the cupboard… And!…

I didn’t see her.

” Aaaaagh! ” a deafening shriek burst my eardrums. Suddenly I stumbled and fell into a steel trap and plummeted into a fiery skull trap. I landed with a thump in a thorny cage. As I turned to look up a skeleton hung from a thorn attached to the wall. I gasped. It had been impelled and was struck through the heart…

And when I opened the cupboard door by Connor

In our old house was a cupboard which had never been opened and I never wanted to. But one day I had to. I was frightened, but when I opened the cupboard door something shouted” come closer.” So I did. I couldn’t move then suddenly the door locked and someone pulled me. I started to bang on the doors and scream for help. It was pitch black so it made me even more scared. I heard the door handle fall off and a white shadow skimmed my face. I knew it was a ghost that did this to me and it was game over.

I wish I hadn’t been so curious, it led me to open the door. Slowly, I slid the key the door, to my surprise it worked! Suddenly, when my fingers touched the surprisingly smooth handle, the cupboard creaked as if to say ‘ come in’. Sweat raced down my forehead and when I opened the cupboard door… I wasn’t in a cupboard…

The unexplainable creature by Conner

I was sat upstairs in the isolated house. Suddenly a creak came from bellow me, I picked the bat at the side of my bed, then leisurely walked down the stairs. I stopped at the end and peered round the corner and noticed the cupboard was open. I sneaked through the hall and heard an unusual sound, and when I opened the door an unexplainable creature looked up and stared at me with his devilish eyes. Then suddenly it ran for the door and got out the cat flap, the creature was never ever seen by mankind ever again, until…
