Year 6 last party!

Year 6 had a smashing time on Thursday when they had there last party of the year there was dancing, singing and posing. My friends and I put on our funky glasses and posed for our great picture. We all had a wonderful time this was the best afternoon ever.Thank you to all of the teachers that made this happen. My favourite part was when I started singing with all my friends this will be a memory to never forget.

The year 6 had some amazing entertainment he was a…magicain .

Year 6 Tea party By Amy

Year 6 has been an incredible experience for all of us. I will miss all the teachers who have guided me throughout the year. Most of all I will miss my best friend, Rebecca, who has always been there for me.

We had a magician for entertainment (called Jason), who did amazing tricks, such as: making a £10 note appear inside a lime, turning a piece of paper into a lolly pop! It was marvellous!!

I just want to say thank you to everyone who made my time at St James enjoyable. I really appreciate your encouragement and help. I will miss you all…..

Being In Year 6… By Rebecca

This year has been my most memorable part throughout primary school. I have worked my way through SATS, been on fun trips with my fiends and improved so much in my work. Going into high school is going to be a big step but I am ready. I am going to miss all the teachers and my best friend Amy. The tea party was amazing ; Karaoke, sweets, dancing and a lot of messing around. I may have to leave some of my friends behind but I will always remember them and everyone from primary.Everyone looked smart and beautiful at the tea party; Dresses, tuxedo and very smart clothes. Before all this pressure was put on our backs as the hall filled with parents and students, ready to watch out performance. It went so well,I also cried a little as well as parents. I was the most happiest I could be when the teachers announced my name for the “pupil of the year ” award! I was so happy.

Above all I am so happy with the education and fun I have had  with friends, family and teachers. I wish all the year fives good luck with SATS and good luck to all pupils at St-James primary.

Thank you for making year 6 a great Year for me and my friends.

Exhilarating, thrilling, authentic, a group of year 6 pupils visited the exquisite Whimmarleigh hall, where they partook in a variation of activities. On Wednesday afternoon-which was scorching- we were challenged to take on the trapeze…
The trapeze was a massive vertical pole with bars, that jutted out of it. When you reached the top, you jumped for the trapeze/bar.

Other activities included: zip wire, sensory trail (where Mr McKean poured orange squash over Anthony and Amy’s heads!), the giant swing and lots more exciting activities.

The big swing caused lots of people to pull funny faces and scream out loud. Mrs Latham, Mr McKean, Rhianne, Mawazo and Leon were the funniest.
We wish we could visit PGL again.
